As the Xushida team unloaded the string bowling equipment from the truck the children gathered around, curious to watch. The Bowling Supplies were drawn to the bright colors and cool design of the equipment and wanted to try it as soon as possible.

These were days of celebration related to the opening of two new bowling lanes in Malta. Each of the children eagerly lined up to have their turns, eyes agog as the balls of  colour rolled down lanes at pins. They cheered each other on to roaming laughter and cheers.

For the children, string bowling was a thrill to bring to Malta. It was a sport that required skill, concentration and some good fortune. It turns out that knocking down the pins was not as easy as they thought, as they took turns using a bowling ball and bowling shoes.
